Stick pins anyone?

Hi, I sure have been enjoying the warmth! Went to beach with Krystal and Brandon this past weekend and enjoyed it so much I didn't want to come home!!! The day was perfect, Krystal will have some pictures posted soon on her blog.  She does have the kit for her upcoming UStream class posted if your interested go check it out, she will be teaching you a really cool fold!  You can find the kits by clicking here --http://krystalsnight.blogspot.com/2011/06/finally-kit.html

I have also rediscovered my love for beads! Before scrapbooking I was mad beading woman let me tell you. While moving my scraproom I found all my little treasures!! OMG I was so excited to see all these beauties. I had forgotten how many different type of beads I had...so today I had a few free hours and I made the following stick pins...I made a set for me and then made some to sell, so if your interested go to my KITS page and get you a set.  They come in sets of 3 pins per order, my favorite, ofcourse are the Jacob Twilight Inspired pins, they have a wolf on them! Im making some Edward inspired they will have a crystal heart...yay!! I think they turned out great!  They are on 3inch pins and some are on 2 inch pins...I took several pictures take a looksie...

The center bead is beatiful, with roses within...I only have 2 sets of these. All 3 pins are 3 inches long on this set.

These are my funky hearts...how cool are they! love em! These are also on 3 inch pins, nice and long. I have 3 or 4 sets of these.

My favorite! I have 4 sets of these, they are on 3 inch pins and are done in rich red and some black beads plus the cool wolf! Can't wait for the movie and for the mini Im making!!

These are soft pink and purple...2 are on 3inch pins and one is on 2 inch pin...perfect for a baby book or anything soft and romantic.

Since I did soft pink for a girls mini I had to do some blue for a boy right? 2 pins are 3inch and 1 is on a 2 inch pin...really cool colors with hints of silver and pearl.

I believe I have 3 sets of these, they would look great on a victorian/vintage mini cause of the browns and greens, plus the cute angel is adorable no?  All these are on 3inch pins...

Some of these I only have one set, some I have about 4 sets, so very limited. I will be making some more as I keep going through my beads..fun fun! :)
Hugs and Love to all and as always...

Me a farmer??

HI ladies, well this has been a hot summer!!! and today I picked some of my home grown produce! Look at these delicious colors.  These jalapenos will make the most tasty "Pico de Gallo" = Salsa. Next year I'm going to try to grow some garlic yum. I still have some corn to pick and some egg plants. I've never even tasted egg plant but thought I would give them a shot. I can not take all the credit for this, Brandi planted this back in March, all I'm doing it picking it! lol but that is gardening for me!!! lol  here are some pictures of what was picked today...

Next year I am having a whole field of nothing but pumpking, I LOVE them!!!  I hope your enjoying you summer, I know I am...

Wall hanging...

Good morning, its  a beautiful Cloudy, thundery, rainy day here in Pensacola! Loving it!!! I hope it rains all day long, we have needed it so badly. I wanted to share this project I showed in my last UStream class.  I will post it on the Kits for Sale page later today, with a small video.  I'm still not sure if there will be a UStream class for this project. I think what will happen is you will get a recorded tutorial, it will be like working one on one. Still not positive though, just a thought.  Im working on recording it and seeing how good the quality of the CD would be. This is the plan for now. I have been so busy I can't find time to schedule the class.  What do you guys think?
The Kit for the Mini album I shared during the Ustream class will also go up for sale this weekend. Krystal called that mini "BB" cause it has a bird and a butterfly on the cover. Im awful at naming my books! lol  I have sold several of those kits already, thanks ladies!!!!  Im working on getting everything together for that kit to show you guys in a video. Ok well here are some images of the wall hanging, if your interested please go to the Kits page.  If you buy both kits, this one and the Mini the shipping will be combined since I can put them both in the Priority Package, so kinda-of-a 2 for 1 deal going on there. ((smile))  Out of the USA please contact me for shipping fees, thanks!
Ok now remember, a photographer I'm not! lol

You will be getting everything you see in the picture  to complete your project. All you will need is a hot glue gun or glue of your choice! I will be teaching you how to make the 2 lacey flowers and the rosettes inisde!  You will get enough lacey product to make 3 flowers but you will only need 2 for this project. I included a couple extra flowers from IamRoses that are not shown in the picutres, I added them afterwards, but it makes it makes it look prettier, I think...
Well once again...thanks and as always...Besitos and

Operation STC

LOL Ok, here's the thing. Back in 2000, Kat used to collect kittens as a "hobby"! Everytime I turned around she had a kitten she had "Rescued" from some place or another. I come home one day to find her hanging off the side of a 10 foot latter, wayyy at the top, let me repeat that...my baby, my 13 year old Krystal was handing over the side of a 10 foot latter! and what was she doing you might be wondering??? Well, she was "rescuing" a kitten from its nest, (which I presume the mama cat thoght a roof top would have been the safest place to have her litter!) But nope, Wrong, with the help of my best soup laddle, kat was scooping the 4 or 5 day old kitten to safety! If you ask me, that is NOT rescuing kittens that plain out CatNapping them! lol So anyway, this was back in New Mexico were we lived for about 3 years, before returning to FL.  We did rescure this one beautiful kitten though, which we still have. He made the long 17 hour trip like a champ! But why we kept him out of all the others only Heaven knows. He was the "Marley" of cats. Completely shredded my curtains, - he would climb them, then slowly slide down using only his claws, then from a stand still, standing about 2 inches from the fridge, he would jump striaght up into the air and land on top of the refridgerator knocking over everything!! What a mess that made, not to mention he shed like no cat I have EVER been around. You can watch the hair flying around him when he walks, no joke.
Well as he grew older, I of course de-clawed him! those baby's had to go! no questions asked...he still hunts mind you...how?  I have no idea but he does, he leaves me nice little "gifts" by my front door!! Not cute!  He also stopped jumping on the fridge, that one I'm sooooooooooooooo grafeful about! But he developed another hatefuly habit.  "Dashing" yeap, you open the door and he would Dash out  before you could stop him! Almost chopped his head off once trying to shut the door before he went out!!! Not fun.  Well all it took was him -dashing out- one freezing morning while I was seeing Brandi onto the school bus. I had to chase him, barefooted in the cold to bring him back inside...Wait I thought, the cats wants out? COOL! no more litter box, not more 3x vacuum sessions a day... I threw his lil but outside! That was many years ago. He has been happy outside too...hunting, playing with my dogs and managing not to get run over! A miracle on its own...well NOW that he is old and decrepit, he wants back in. So I have been fighting with him about this, becaue now he DASHES IN!!!! NOPE... not coming in!!! Damn cat! lol But as I took a closer  look at him today, I felt sad for him. He is almost 12 years old and has mellowed out alot, and to add pain to injury I noticd he has a limp, or maybe he saw the weakness in my eyes and decided to add a lil pitty twist into the mix to help his cause!  So OPERATION SAVE THE CAT (STC) has begun. I went and bought EVERYTHING needed with expection of a litter box, Kat is letting me use hers, since she owns the RollS Royce of kitty litter boxes. I'm getting him some flea treatments, giving him a bath and "Aries"  --- thats his name by the way, is coming inside tomorrow. Lets see how long that lasts.  Did I mentoin he is part Siamese??? Oh yesssss, and he talks and talks and talks until you just about go crazy!  One good thing is that Thank God Dougie (thats what I call my better half)  loves the cat, so I wont get any problems out of him...I know know ...BAD ME for leaving him outside so long! But listen...the cat DID WANT OUT!!! lol and NOW he wants in so HE is coming in...he looks pittiful  today guys...here are some pics of him ... ( now we have let him in occasionally dont get me wrong we havent abused him or anything, he is part of our family! lol  So please no hate mail ok? lol)

 Meet Aries...
He will fall alseep with you holding him.
Brandi tell him to STOP TALKING! lol
He is thinner than I want him to be, so I'll update you on
STC later, see how fat he gets being back inisde!
If he sees you he IS GOING to talk to you!!! and talk and talk and talk...

Ok just thought I would share! love you all....
and as always...

Ustream was a bust tonight :(

Well, we tried for an hour to get UStream to "stream video" without any success!! For some reason it just wouldn't allow me to broadcast video, audio was fine but not video!!! ACK!! So frustrating...thank you all that waited around for a whole hour just to see if it would work.  If any of you know of another streaming channel we can meet on let me know. As of right now I am looking into LIVESTREAM.COM  So far so good, but I don't have have all the details. I am going to play around with it for a lil'while and get back to you all with the details. You might have to create accounts to view, not sure yet.  I am also trying to see why Ustream was not working!!!!  In any matter, THANKS again for waiting around, thanks for all your support!!!   The class has been resheduled for next Saturday, June 11th at 6pm, location not yet known! lol
